EDF Energy Services, a joint venture between EDF Energy and Dalkia, has agreed to acquire Imtech UK and Ireland from Endless LLP. Imtech is a leading engineering services company and provider of technical services to construction, industrial, commercial and public sector clients in the UK and Ireland.
Imtech employs more than 2,100 people, generating revenues of over £400m per year delivering mechanical and electrical engineering services, technical operation and management of facilities, and the integration of digital control solutions.

Completion of the deal is subject to merger control clearance from the European Commission.
In addition, the combined expertise of EDF Energy, Dalkia and Imtech UK and Ireland will enable the company to apply the latest technologies and offer innovative services that deliver improved energy efficiencies at every stage in the life of industrial and commercial facilities – from initial design and build, operation and maintenance through to control of energy.
Within EDF Energy Services Imtech will retain its operational autonomy and will continue to run the business with its experienced management team providing strong leadership as they have done successfully for many years. Imtech will be looking to recruit new talent into the business to accommodate this acceleration in their strategy.
