James Woolley

James’ role at Endless is different from other partners in that he focuses exclusively on portfolio management and exits.  He is more at home spending time with management teams at their sites rather than sitting in the office in Leeds. He thinks it’s great to see a business being fixed and transformed and seeing the energy of this go through the organisation and its colleagues.  If we can leave a business in a better and more sustainable position than when we invested it, then our work is done and that brings James great job satisfaction.

James has been with Endless in 2007 and in that time overseen a number of exits across sectors in food and drink, industrials, business services and retail.

James currently sits on the boards of a number of portfolio companies including Go Plant, American Golf, BBF, EVO Group and Kennelpak.

Outside of work, James has four children who keep him more than busy along with the occasional trip to Old Trafford when circumstances permit.
