Endless became the majority investor in Arran Aromatics in March 2017. Arran Aromatics is a luxury cosmetics business, making bath, body and beauty products by hand from its home on the Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland.
The business was founded by Janet Russell and her husband Iain in the kitchen of their cottage on the Isle of Arran in 1989. Since then, it has grown to be one of the best-loved brands in Scotland, operating from 6 retail stores in Scotland and employing over 80 people. The business retains a strong family ethos and we are delighted that members of the Russell family continue with the business to this day.
Following a significant rebranding and reformulation of many of its products during 2016, Arran was experiencing growing pains and required new investment in early 2017. Endless reacted to this opportunity quickly, safeguarding the future of a much-loved business and providing investment to secure its future.
Since acquiring the business, Endless has strengthened the senior team with the appointment of a Chairman, Mark Pacitti, who brings 30+ years of experience in corporate finance and consumer products, previously Corporate Finance Global Leader at Deloitte. We also appointed a highly experienced Chief Operations and Financial Officer, Kevin Meechan, with a background in an adjacent FMCG market, formerly Head of Commercial Finance at Whyte & Mackay in Scotland
Francesco Santinon who led the investment for Endless said: "Arran is one of those quintessentially Scottish brands that resonates with consumers around the world. We are delighted to be working with Mark, Kevin and the Russell family to continue the progress of recent years of establishing Arran on a global stage.”
