Saint Nick Awards raise over £16,000 for charities

We are delighted to announce that following the success of the Saint Nick Awards in Yorkshire and in the Midlands in the past month, the donations have been made to the three charities. The Birmingham Children’s Hospital received £8,500 from the Midlands Saint Nick Awards which were held in November and the Turnaround Foundation and Challenge66 received £7,500 from the Yorkshire Saint Nick Awards held in December. We are extremely grateful to the professional communities in these regions for the support shown at the Saint Nick Awards, without which these donations would not be possible.

On behalf of everyone that heard about Challenge66 at the Yorkshire Saint Nick Awards, we would like to wish Andy and the team all the best with their challenge and look forward to following their progress in the future (seewww.challenge66.org). We will also keep you informed of the Turnaround Foundation’s progress in early 2011 and we will be back in the Spring with the second North West Saint Nick Awards.

Over the past year, we are delighted to have been part of raising more than £40,000 for charities through our events and challenges, in the process helping the fundraising for Sport Relief, Haiti Hospital Appeal, Francis House Children’s Hospice, The Children’s Heart Appeal at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, AgeUK, Challenge66 and The Turnaround Foundation.   We look forward to supporting the local professional communities in their fundraising plans in 2011 and hope we can encourage you all, once again, to dig deep in 2011 when we start our fundraising again.
