With revenues of £100 million and employing over 400 staff, Affinity Workforce was one of the UK’s leading public sector recruitment specialists across Education, Healthcare and Social Care. Established over 20 years ago, it operated from a truly national footprint of 19 offices across the UK. The business comprised of the Monarch, CER and Quality Teachers brands within its Education division, 4FRONT and Team24 within its Healthcare division and Medicare First within its Social Care division. Candidates were predominantly teachers, nurses and social workers placed into both interim and permanent roles.
Endless completed the accelerated non-core carve out of Affinity Workforce from Capita plc in June 2017. Alongside the existing management team, Endless provided strategic, commercial, operational and financial assistance as the business transitioned to a standalone entity and looked to grow.
In October 2018, Endless sold its stake in Affinity Workforce to Castle Rock Group (“CRG”) for an undisclosed sum. The transaction enabled CRG to drive forward the next stage of Affinity Workforce’s transformation and growth plans and add material scale to, and diversification of, CRG’s existing operations.
Francesco Santinon, Partner at Endless, said:
“During our ownership an intensive and considerable transformation has been achieved, including a significant and complex separation and commencement of a range of strategic growth initiatives. This ultimately led to CRG’s desire to bring the business within its Group and to exploit further opportunities due to its scale and expertise in public sector staffing. It is exciting times for Affinity as it enters its next chapter.”
